Doug Speaks on the Police Contract, Transparency, and the G-File at the KLRU/LBJ School Forum Wednesday

Our police need to be paid well like every other public safety officer who works in Austin, and we should follow the will of the voters who overwhelmingly demanded transparency through Prop A last year. The tentative agreement reached by the city and the police association seems to have traded transparency for expediency in getting the deal done. This is my full response during the ATX Decides Mayoral Forum hosted by PBS Austin and the LBJ School.
